5 cleaning tips that will change your life

When it comes to house clearances, we’ve got the skills, experience and customer testimonials to prove that we’re experts in our field. We undertake house clearances across Worcester, Cirencester and all areas of Gloucestershire, but what you may not know about us, is that although our specialism is house clearance/removals, a part of our package is also cleaning. This means that our clients don’t need to hire separate cleaning, rubbish skip and van services… because we’re all 3 in 1.

We conduct cleaning to a professional standard so that properties are ready for vacant possession. With that being said, over our many years in the industry, we’ve developed some fantastic house clearance cleaning tips that are both helpful to you and kind to the environment. Here are some of them:

1. Get a reusable mop

Re-using a wet mop can lead to all sorts of hygiene/disease issues as the mop still retains the bacteria from the last time you cleaned. Buying throw-away mops aren’t good for the environment because they just pollute the planet by ending up in landfill/the ocean. Purchasing a reusable mop which you can wash in your washing machine is a great way to keep floors clean and stay environmentally friendly.

3. Use a lint roller to remove dust

We’ve all been there, you’ve done a full dust of your home, you’re just ready to put the duster away, you turn around and bam, the dust has settled again. A great way to avoid this (as much as you can) is to use a lint roller to collect the dust so you can be sure it’s not going to settle on your surfaces.

You’ll also save on buying more plastic cleaning products by using something you may already have in your cupboard.
